You’ve Got This – Magic Slider Card

Magic slider card created using Stampin’ Up! You’ve Got This

Morning, morning, morning – hope you all had a fabby weekend! Another busy one for us. No crafting AGAIN!! But I did have a fabulous long lunch out with my bessie mates (UK for BFF I think). My crafty to do list for the week is long and growing! Mind you so is the housework list – wonder which one I’ll concentrate on?? Hmmmm hard choice – NOT! Lol!

Today’s project is one I made for a card swap challenge that I’m part of via Facebook. The theme for this challenge was a magic slider card. I decided on the new You’ve Got This stamp set from Stampin’ Up! (available in wood or clear). It’s a lovely set and I’ve seen some beautiful cards on Pinterest using it. Hopefully you’ll like mine. There’s a few photos as it’s hard to capture in one photo!

Not quite sure what the reflection is on the one above – looks almost like an alien face to me!

I watercoloured the background card and flicked ink splats over the watercolour paper whilst it was still wet. It’s one of my favourite techniques.

Well I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks for stopping by.

Don’t forget it’s your last chance to earn free stamp sets if you sign up as a demonstrator. The offer ends tomorrow June 30th.

  1. I remember when you showed this type of card in your class – we had a lot of fun doing it 🙂 I chose the little fox with the umbrella !
The colouring of the flower is stunning and works perfectly with this “magic” revealing 🙂

  2. Hello,
Your card inspired me to make another version … for a swap in thanks for a great day between Stampin’Up demonstrators last sunday !
    Thank you for sharing 😉

I know this is an older pard but what is the panel in the square that makes the picture all white. Because it looks like it was in Boston till you pull the card out

What do you think?
