Watercolour Wonderland from Stampin’ Up!

Watercolour pine trees using Wonderland from Stampin’ Up!

Good morning, how was your weekend? It just flew by for us. I had a kit card class on Saturday morning, which was great fun. For once I actually completed a whole kit myself mostly following the designs on the instructions. The other ladies came up with lovely new designs using the kits, some of which I will CASE and show you at a later date, no doubt.

Well on to today’s project. I have a thing about Watercolour and have been pinning lots of art tutorials recently. I came across one, which was a group of brightly coloured fir trees. I was sat looking at it wistfully, wishing I could paint like that, when I remembered Wonderland from Stampin’ Up! ®. I got out the Stampin’ Marker pens and a water spritzer and hey presto here’s sthe result!

I love it. I finished it off with a sentiment from Wonderland and some Melon Mambo sequins.

  4. This is amazing. Love the non-traditional colors.

  5. Love this card, so bright and cheerful! Love the play on words with the sentiment too, so I hope you don’t mind that I’ve CASEd it (with a link to your original here). Thanks for the inspiration.

I really love this. Can you please tell me which colors you used? Also, what you sprayed? Im assuming dry paper, ink on stamp, then spray stamp? It really is stunning.

    • Hi – I used the Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay markers to ink up the stamp. I then sprayed the stamp with water and stamped onto dry watercolour paper. Glad you like the card 🙂

  7. This is a beautiful card and I can’t wait to try it out!!

  8. I love what you did with this card (and this one: http://bedlamandbutterflies.co.uk/2015/10/celebrate-wonderland-from-stampin-up/)! I would love to share them both on my blog for ‘My Crafty Friends Monday’ (a round up of amazing cards from amazing stampers!)! Please let me know if you would prefer that I didn’t share it (of course I give you credit and link back to your blog!).
