Simple Tree Punch Card Design

Simple Tree Punch Card Design – one design, multiple variations.

How are you getting on with making all your Christmas Cards? I’m not doing too badly for once. I have about 55 completed and just need another 30-40 I think. I need to check, the numbers to make sure, but I’m on track with the help of some simple card designs that are easily repeatable. Now I get easily bored making the same card over and over again, so I only tend to make up to about maximum 6-7 of the same card if I can help it.

Simple cards like the set below, using the Tree Punch from Stampin’ Up! are easy to make in batches and you can also vary the design slightly on each one if you like!Stampin' Up! Winter Wonderland Desinger Vellum Tree Punch Gold Star Metallics Sequin Assortment Tracy May

I made a bunch of these cards at the same time. I just stuck the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum over a piece of Whisper White card and when the glue had dried I punched out the trees using the Tree Punch. I lined up the 3 trees at the back and stuck them down, before adding the two trees to the front and finishing off with sequins.

You can stick all the trees to the card blank, or raise the front row or all of them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

If you don’t have stars for the tree tops you could use round sequins instead.

This design can be made in any colour scheme. It could be stamped using the Festival of Trees stamp set, or use different DSP (Designer Series Paper). There’s a variety of possibilities – try different things out, have fun!
