Beautiful Ride from Stampin’ Up! Interactive Light Up Birthday Card

Welcome to part 2 of our Spring/Summer Farewell 2016 Blog Hop!

You’ll be hopping around to 6 countries and will visit 11 amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators, each with an inspirational project for you to enjoy. The retired list is out now so we’re saying ‘farewell’ to some amazing products, only around while supplies last or until 31st May 2016.

Currently you’re visiting Tracy May from Pinner, United Kingdom. Hello there! 😊 You can continue hopping my using the list of names at the end of this post. Now, let’s scroll down to see what I’ve been making.

I am using Beautiful Ride to make an interactive light up birthday card for my eldest son’s birthday, at the end of May! You can light up the rear light/tail light by pressing on the “Birthday” sentiment!

How cool is that? It’s done using circuit stickers, copper tape and a battery, which are all hidden under the card front!

I used Shimmery White A4 card stock for the card front and watercoloured the VW Beatle with Pacific Point from the Brights Collection Ink Pads! I know my son will love it as he was jealous of the light up card I made for his little brother’s birthday, which I posted here on Monday!

Thank you for visiting today. The next stop on the farewell hop is my lovely talented friend Jacque Williams. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
