Pick a Pattern by Stampin’ Up!

So it’s week two of our CASE the Catalogue month over at Create with Connie & Mary! For those of you who don’t know CASE stands for Copy & Share Everything and is at the very heart of the Stampin’ Up! ethos amongst Demonstrators. We love what we do and share what we love! This week I’m actually using DSP! I know, I’m as shocked as you are to be honest! But I do love this new DSP – Pick a Pattern by Stampin’ Up!

Pick a Pattern by Stampin' Up! Tracy May

As you can probably tell from the picture, I’m sticking with CASEing the layout again! And just like the label in the catalogue says, this card was Quick & Easy! And I really like it too! Added bonus!

I decided to use Sahara Sand for my card base as it’s one of the focal colours in the DSP. Just like the card in the catalogue, I stamped tone on tone. Basically meaning, I stamped Sahara Sand ink onto the Sahara Sand card base. I used the Painter’s Palette stamp set for the background.

I then stuck on two strips of DSP from the lovely new Pick a Pattern by Stampin’ Up! DSP. It’s a really versatile DSP pack. Hopefully I will actually use the whole pack this time! Hi my name is Tracy and I am a DSP hoarder! Lol!

I tied some black metallic twine around the second strip of DSP. I am ordering the new mini sequin trim from the new catalogue so looking forward to using that in the future. The sentiment is from Eastern Promise just like in the card in the catalogue. What do you think? It really was Quick & Simple!

Please do pop along and see what the rest of the design team have come up with this week.

P.S. I have sent out catalogues to all customers who spent more than £20 with me in 2017. If you would like a copy but don’t fall into this category, I’m still happy to send you one. Please just email me with your details and I will post one to you (UK only).

  1. Haha, I tend to be a dsp horder as well! I’m trying to be better about that as well. Whenever a pack retires I always wonder why I didn’t use it more! I love this sweet, fun design that let’s the paper really shine! It’s got so many cute patterns.

  2. Jo Anne Hewins says:

I’m impressed that you tied a bow with that metallic thread! I, too, tend to hoard DSP. Love that the card is quick and simple.

  3. I am to happy to see we are in sync with our love of this DSP and hoarding ways. I am really trying to work on using the DSP(what a concept) this year. That being said, I am concerned that I will run out of this DSP so I may or may not have already ordered a second package of it.

What do you think?
