Merry Patterns by Stampin’ Up!

Merry Patterns by Stampin’ Up!

Well hello my friends! It has been a while, hasn’t it? How have you been? I do hope all is well. I’ve just looked at my blog and I haven’t posted since the end of July! Life has just been super busy of late. I took some time out though yesterday and cracked out the ink pads and stamp sets.

I just love this promotional stamp set, Merry Patterns by Stamping’ Up! which I recently got free with a qualifying order. Yes I do still buy my SU goodies, even though I haven’t had much time to play recently! Once a craftaholic, always a craftaholic!

Merry Patterns by Stamping' Up!

  • I started off by stamping the patterned reindeer onto watercolour paper and then smoothing the pattern out with a damp brush, before fussy cutting the reindeer out once it was dry.
  • The background is embossed with Softly Falling and the two circles were cut out using the Stitched Shapes framelits. The card front was mounted on to a Whisper White card blank.
  • I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and then heat embossed with White embossing powder.

I love how the card came together and will probably make a batch of these as it was quick and easy to put together. Apologies for the blurry shot – I must be out of practice!

The stamp set is one of the items you can choose for free with orders over £250 until the end of October.

I do hope you like the card. Hopefully I will get the chance to make some more cards soon and I will make sure I take better photographs to post, I promise.

Thanks for stopping by!

What a great card. I love the layout. Oooh, I never thought of doing the sequins like that. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful card! I love everything about it! I’ve missed you! Hope you will be back at it soon!

    • Ah thank you so much Elisha – I really miss doing the blog. I will try to get back to posting a bit more regularly when things calm down with my job! 🙂
