Twitawoo – Stampin’ Up! Owl

Twitawoo – Stampin’ Up! Owl created using the Square Pillow Box Thinlits Die.

I think I may have mentioned once or a multitude of times, that my youngest son has now started school. And I’ve probably mentioned even more times, that he is now full time! I do miss him, but he’s loving it and it’s calming him down so all’s well really! It was a staggered introduction to Reception though, and he didn’t even start part time until 11th September. He was a tad upset the day my eldest son started back at school, on the first day of term, as he thought he would be starting that day too (despite being reminded frequently he wasn’t bless). He wandered into my craft room and started playing with things lying on my desk, so I asked if he wanted to make something. An owl, he said, and not just a little owl (like the owl punch I showed him) but a bigger owl because he is in Owl Class and a big boy now! Don’t you know?Mummy!!!!

So I grabbed for the Square Pillbox Thinlits die from the Autumn/Winter catalogue to create my Stampin’ Up! Owl. What do you think?

My son insisted the owl have feet! So I stuck two hearts to the underside of the box, which was a bit tricky and they were a bit flimsy. Needless to say, they came off fairly quickly when my son was “flying” the owl around my craft room (n.b. “flying” consisted off him jumping off the sofa and throwing the owl in to the air to crash first into the ceiling (owl only) and then on to the floor (both of them) 😁 ). Ouch!

Hope you like it. It’s a cutie – even if it’s now a teeny bit bedraggled and bashed, it’s still in one piece (minus the feet of course).

Today’s project are a couple of quick thank you cards I made for my sons to give to their friends, who came to their party at the weekend. It’s the first time I’ve used this set – it’s Life in the Forest – and it’s very cute. It got the boys’ approval anyway!

I stamped all the stamps in the set over the card front in various colours (all listed in the ingredients list below).
I’ve got about 15 or so more to make – good job they are so quick and easy!
Now for the exciting part – the blog giveaway winner. I had a message from Sam who was trying to enter a comment but for some reason it wouldn’t post, so I have included her in the numbers to be fair. That meant there were 8 comments and the winner is ……
The third comment was from Delphine! Well done Delphine! Thank you so much for following my blog and leaving comments. I will be in touch to get your DSP to you!
Thank you to everyone who left a comment and

Spring Easter Bunny Treat Bag Video – using Stampin’ Up! ® products

Good morning everyone. I hope you are all fine and dandy today. A while back I posted a picture of two cute little bunny treat bags that I was intending to make in my March class. I was undecided on which colour to go for. In the end we made both, with a more grown up option available for the ladies to make if the preferred.

The bunnies went down a treat I must say! Also the Petite Petal flower stamp and punch bundle (wood or clear) used to decorate the grown up version was very popular, even amongst the ladies who made the bunny version!

Well back to the bunnies though, I filmed a video tutorial for the gift bags, and as the class was last week I can share it with you all now. I do hope you enjoy it.
