Well good morning (or even evening, afternoon etc) to you! I have just had a fantastically fun, messy, inky class. The reaction of my class ladies when I showed them the projects we were going to make and the technique we were using was soooo fantastic – they were so excited and that set the tone for a wow evening! I love all my classes, but this one was extra special thanks to their responses and I thank each of them for that!
We created 3 projects, 2 cards and a little jotter (notepad) holder decorated with backgrounds created with the shaving foam ink marbling technique. I know I have been playing with this technique since the end of February/beginning of March (Mother’s day card for example), but I still love it. It is such fun and I don’t think I will tire of it any time soon. I have created a little tutorial which is at the end of this post after the projects, but as usual I wanted to wait until after my class to post the it.
One of the projects we made was a version of the card I made for Demo Support for the #weloveDS appreciation flashmob.
My favourite project of the class though was the 3D one, the little jotter…
For this project I used:
Stamps: Flower Shop (wood or clear)
Card Stock: Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Bermuda Bay
Reinkers: Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay
Ink Pads: Bermuda Bay
Punches: Pansy, Petite Petals
Embellishments: Whisper White Baker’s Twine, Rhinestone Basic Jewels
I used velcro dots as a fastener.
So how about that tutorial then? Here you go
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks for stopping by. Have a fabulous weekend.
