The theme for today’s projects is Easter! I had actually thought it was Mother’s Day for this month’s theme as it will be Mother’s Day in the UK in a couple of weeks. Well I’m glad I checked before I had finished my card as I had actually started making a Mother’s Day card but switched to my quick Easter card below!

Delicate Details by Stamping’ Up!

Delicate Details by Stamping’ Up! – Dream Theme Blog Hop

Welcome to the Dream Theme Blog Hop. It’s a monthly blog hop featuring some amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators from around the world. Currently you’re visiting me, Tracy May from London, UK. To continue along the blog hop, please use the links below.

The theme for today’s projects is Wedding Cards! I have actually gone with a Happy Anniversary card – well I think this still counts as wedding related don’t you? I must admit I was struggling a bit with this theme as I don’t really have the wedding specific stamp sets that Stamping’ Up! offers. So I hit Pinterest for some inspiration and saw some lovely wedding cards using real lace and hey presto the idea to use Delicate Details by Stamping’ Up! was born.

I’ve teamed my “lace” up with Kraft card stock as I love the contrast of the white embossing powder against it. In the end I decided to keep to a simple design and stamped only on the left hand of the card. What do you think? I hope you like it!

Thank you for stopping by to see my Wedding card idea. I hope you’ve found it inspiring. Please do hop along to see what my lovely and fabulously talented friend Delphine has made and keep hopping around the wonderful creations from the rest of the Dream Theme Design team!

Sunshine Wishes by Stampin’ Up!

Sunshine Wishes by Stampin’ Up! – Dream Theme Blog Hop #4

Welcome to the Dream Theme Blog Hop. It’s a monthly blog hop featuring some amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators from around the world. This month we are sharing amazing, inspirational Valentine’s card ideas. Currently you’re visiting me, Tracy May from London, UK. To continue along the blog hop, please use the links below.

The theme for today’s projects is Valentine’s Day! I have used Sunshine Wishes by Stampin’ Up! for my focal image of the heart.

Sunshine Wishes by Stampin' Up! Tracy May Dream Theme Blog Hop

As soon as I found out the theme for this month’s blog hop, I dived into my basket of unfinished projects. I had the card front with the background stamp from You’ve Got This with the heart from Sunshine Wishes ready and waiting. I had been playing around with some water colouring a few months ago creating different backgrounds. The ones that I didn’t think were good enough to use ended up being used to cut out various die shapes – this heart being one of them. I added it to the card front I had stamped the Watercolour Wash image in Soft Sky on for another project, which I then didn’t use. Then I didn’t know what to use the card front for so it languished in my basket until this Christmas holiday when I had some time to prep for today’s blog hop!

Thank you for stopping by to see my Valentine’s Day card idea. I hope you’ve found it inspiring. Please do hop along to see what my lovely and fabulously talented friend Delphine has made and keep hopping around the wonderful creations from the rest of the Dream Theme Design team!

Number of Years by Stampin’ Up!

Dream Theme Blog Hop #3

Welcome to the second Dream Theme Blog Hop. It’s a monthly blog hop featuring some amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators from around the world. This month we are sharing amazing, inspirational New Years Eve card ideas. Currently you’re visiting me, Tracy May from London, UK. To continue along the blog hop, please use the links below.

I’ve combined a number of stamp sets for today’s card starting with Number of Years by Stampin’ Up! with the coordinating Large Numbers framelits. There is even a sneak peek from the new Spring/Summer Catalogue 2017 due in a couple of weeks! The Balloons are from a Fabulous new set called Birthday Bright!

I don’t usually make New Years Cards as we don’t really send them in the UK, so I’ve stuck with a fairly traditional Christmas Colour scheme of red and gold. I used gold embossing powder and versamark as a base ink before inking the stamp in red so that I could get a two tone look – what do you think?

Paisleys & Posies by Stampin’ Up!

Dream Theme Blog Hop #2

Welcome to the second Dream Theme Blog Hop. It’s a monthly blog hop featuring some amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators from around the world. This month we are sharing amazing, inspirational small gift packaging ideas. Currently you’re visiting me, Tracy May from London, UK. To continue along the blog hop, please use the links below.

I love paisley. Always have. I remember a black skirt I got when I was around 17. It had a beautiful purple paisley print all over. I wore that skirt till it practically fell apart! So when I saw Paisleys & Posies in the 2016 Autumn/Winter Catalogue I knew I had to have it! It’s what I used for my Online order club gifts in October and I knew it was perfect for the theme of today’s blog hop!

Paisleys & Posies by Stampin' Up! Tracy May Dream Theme Blog Hop

I used the Kraft Tag a Bag gift bags which are the perfect size for the Stampin’ Up! Rhinestones (and Pearls) packets. I stamped Paisleys & Posies in Versamark over the front of the gift bags and then heat set it. I added a strip of Cherry Cobbler and Copper card stock underneath and finished off with a Cherry Cobbler tag. The Kraft Rope trim was stapled to the front of the bag. Sadly the hand held stapler is being retired due to issues with supply.

Mountain Adventure by Stampin’ Up!

Dream Theme Blog Hop

14691124_10211118153658024_64125737643375018_n

Welcome to the first Dream Theme Blog Hop. It’s a monthly blog hop featuring some amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators from around the world. This month we are sharing amazing, inspirational Christmas projects. Currently you’re visiting me, Tracy May from London, UK. To continue along the blog hop, please use the links below.

I have been having another play with Mountain Adventure by Stampin’ Up! This set screamed shaker card to me and finally I managed to get back in the craft room and pull it together. I just had to go with a watercolour background for the sky.

Mountain Adventure by Stampin' Up! Tracy May

I used masking fluid to protect the mountains and splattered some across the top to create the snow storm effect. The sky is painted with a mix of Tempting Turquoise and Night of Navy and (ahem not very modest of me) I love it!

Mountain Adventure by Stampin' Up! Tracy May

I used Silver Dazzling Details on the mountain peak to add some extra sparkle. The house is cut out and popped up on a Stampin’ Dimensional for a 3D effect. I used silver sequins from the current metallic sequins assortments and added a few retired snowflakes I had left over. What do you think? I think Mountain Adventure by Stampin’ Up! is turning out to be one of those really versatile stamp sets.

Anyway I really hope you like my project. Please do hop along to see what my lovely and fabulously talented friend Delphine has made and keep hopping around the wonderful creations from the rest of the Dream Theme Design team!
