One of my favourite free products is the Wildflower Field Designer Series Paper. I used it to cover a note book I made using my Cinch machine.

I teamed it up with Number of Years to stamp the Year onto Whisper White card stock.

You can earn either of these products free with an order of 60 € | £45 or both with an order of 120 € | £90.

I will be sharing more projects with both of these over the next few weeks. In the meantime do you know about my monthly Gift Code? Here’s the details. This is a personal gift from me and is independent of any Stampin’ Up! promotions.

Online Ordering Thank You Gift

Would you like to receive a free thank you gift when ordering online?

If you shop with me, I would like to send you a little treat as a thank you and to show you how much I appreciate you choosing me as your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

So how do you receive your thank you gift?

At the start of every month, I will issue a new code on my blog. It will be in both the side bar menu and at the bottom of every blog post. The code for January is X22BYMDX.

Simply add the code to your online order and you will receive a free gift from me once the code is closed at the end of the month. When I close the code each month, the host rewards will be calculated and divided between all the people who have placed an order, using the code, that month. Each person will be sent a gift, directly from me. Please allow a couple of weeks i.e. until the middle of the following month for this to arrive, to allow time for me to order the free gifts and then package them up and send them on (the postage for the free gift will be covered by me).

Your order will not be affected by using the code and will be sent to you in the usual way. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE CODE IF YOUR ORDER IS £150 / 200 €, as your own order will be eligible for the Stampin’ Rewards.

Please make sure the settings under your “My Account” allow me to contact you. If they don’t, then even if you use the code, I will be unable to see who you are and will not be able to send you your thank you gift;

Allow Contact from your demonstrator

The free gift can only be sent for orders that are placed using the code. Unfortunately it isn’t possible to update an order to add the code once it’s been submitted.

When you are placing an order, and you are ready to check out,  add the code before you hit the Check Out button. You will be prompted to add a code when you are checking out if you forget at this point.

Add the Monthly Host Code to your order

Please do get in touch if you need any help in any way with using the code and placing online orders. I am more than happy to help tracyj.may71@gmail.com or 07788746908

Do not forget to use the Host Code 4PBWSWWY when ordering online to receive free product from me. (N.B. only applicable for orders over £20 and UNDER £150)

Sale-a-bration Free product from Stampin’ Up!

Sale-a-bration Free product from Stampin’ Up!

Sale-a-bration the biggest promotion from Stampin’ Up! is well underway now. Last week I talked about the benefits of signing up as a demonstrator during Sale-a-bration. This week I want to let you know about the Free product you can earn.

New Stampin' Up! Catalogue and Sale-a-bration

For every £45 you spend  you can choose one free Sale-a-bration item. The offer is not limited by order so for example if you spend £90 you can choose 2 free items and £120 choose 3 etc.

Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration free product Sky is the Limit Tracy May

I teamed Sky is the Limit set up with the Watercolour Wash background stamp to create the sky. I used a strip of Everyday Chic Designer Washi tape and black card to hide some mucky finger prints! Oops. Also the little banner on the top  is hiding a splodge of orange ink! Double oops! I have no idea how it got there but I think both add to the card and it would have been a little plain (ha ha ha pun intended) otherwise!

Sale-a-bration runs until March 31st, however, Sky is the limit is one of the free items you can choose. This stamp set is one of the three free Sale-a-bration products that are only available until February 15th. From February 16th a new set of free products will be made available.

Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration 2016 Sky is the Limit Tracy May

This set is very versatile and makes great cards for guys. I made this card for my Father-in-law’s birthday this week. He’s going to be 87 so the card is kind of tongue in cheek with that old fashioned aeroplane! 🙂

You can see the other free products you can choose from in the Sale-a-bration brochure. Click your language to download the pdf which is available in English, French and German.

Rose Garden Thank You Cards

Rose Garden Thank You Cards

Yesterday I talked about my favourite benefit of being a demonstrator is the wonderful people I have met along the way and one of the cards I am showing today, is a thank you card I made for a lovely lady who I have also only met thanks to Stampin’ Up!  I love making thank you cards. I have a wonderful group of customers who I make them for and I try to make them different each time!

Stampin' Up! Rose Garden Thinlits Thank You Cards Tracy May UK Demonstrator

The card is 6″ x 6″ so I made the envelope from the Whisper White Envelope paper and I stamped it with the co-ordinating rose from Rose Wonder. I don’t often get around to stamping my envelopes, but I know the friend who I sent this card to, likes to do so, and so I made the effort! 😊

Stampin' Up! Rose Garden Thinlits Thank You Cards Tracy May UK Demonstrator

I used Rich Razzleberry for the rose and the leaves are Old Olive. I simply cut out the full die cut in Rich Razzleberry and then just the leaves from the Old Olive. I only needed to trim them very slightly and then stuck them over the top of the Razzleberry leaves. It looks great!

Stampin' Up! Rose Garden Thinlits Thank You Cards Tracy May UK Demonstrator

I also made a standard A6 version using the smaller rose in Melon Mambo, with the leaves from the main larger rose. Also I cut the tags using Tags & Labels Thinlits before stamping a sentiment from Another Thank You (a brilliant set to have!).

The design was inspired by some gift packaging I saw on Pinterest, which used real flowers. I love how clean and simple the cards are but very elegant and beautiful – in my oh so humble opinion anyway lol! 😂

New Stampin' Up! Catalogue and Sale-a-bration

Well you’re still umming and ahhing about signing up there are other benefits to being a demonstrator too such as discounts, setting your own hours, making it a full-time job or just part-time to earn extra money.

Stampin' Up! Rose Garden Thinlits Thank You Cards Tracy May UK Demonstrator

There are different types of benefits to being a demonstrator. You can be a hobby demonstrator where you sign up just to get a discount on your personal purchases. Or you can sign up to run it as a business and how you run your business is entirely up to you! Whether you want to do home parties, run classes or blog in order to sell Stampin’ Up! products or even a combination of all three is your choice.

If you’re not sure and would like to chat it through, then feel free to contact me – tracyj.may71@gmail.com or + 44(0)7788746908. I can welcome team members from the UK of course, but also from Austria, France, Germany and the Netherlands, which is fantastic!

Birthday Blooms Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board Gift Box

Birthday Blooms Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board Gift Box

New Stampin' Up! Catalogue and Sale-a-bration

I’m back today with a project that was inspired by Pootles aka Sam Donald. She had posted a very pretty pink gift box (which you can see here) using Birthday Blooms to decorate it. I decided to use the Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board to make my box. It’s really quick and easy and I will have a video for you next week with a different stamp set and colour scheme and all the measurements etc. The box is specifically sized for a box of Rose and Violet flavoured chocolates, that I was sending to a lovely friend of mine.

Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board Birthday Blooms Tracy May UK Demonstrator

The gift box is made out of the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack. I used the silvery polka dot print. Then layered a piece of Smoky Slate Card stock over what would have been the back, if it were an envelope.

The flower from Birthday Blooms is stamped in Smoky Slate onto Shimmery White Card stock. I added the strips of Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper – which is gorgeous – and stamped some pink flowers to add a touch of colour.

What do you think? I love it, but then I would, wouldn’t I? Lol! But more importantly my friend loved it too!

One of the best things for me about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, is the people you meet. I would not have met my lovely friend, if it weren’t for Stampin’ Up! I am part of a team of wonderful, warm, friendly and fun people.

As well as the face-to-face-occasions for get togethers meeting up in the virtual world is so easy in today’s technology and I love that I can interact with people in different countries both in Europe and often over the other side of the world to me.

If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, and you are interested in signing up as a Demonstrator, I would love to welcome you to my growing team!

You can become a demonstrator for just 129 €/£99 and choose a whopping 220 € / £160 worth of product for your Starter Kit. Plus, the kit ships for free!

New Stampin' Up! Catalogue and Sale-a-bration

Just to show you how great that is really, the standard joining deal is 129 €/£99 and and you can choose 45 €/£30 more of FREE products. With Sale-a-bration you can choose an extra 45 €/£30 on top of that!

If you already know the details and just want to sign up simply click here!

Oops, with all the excitement about the Joining offer, I almost forgot to post this week’s deals:

The Sky Is the Limit from Stampin’ Up!

The Sky Is the Limit from Stampin’ Up!

New Stampin' Up! Catalogue and Sale-a-bration

I made today’s project using Sky is the Limit from Stampin’ Up! and teamed it up with the fabulous new Sunburst Thinlits Die from the Spring/Summer 2016 Catalogue. It’s one of the stamp sets on offer during Sale-a-bration, but only until 15th February, when it will be replaced by something new – woohoo!

Sky Is the Limit from Stampin' Up! Tracy May Sunburst Thinlits Sale-a-bration

It’s a really fun card and I’m toying with giving it to my husband as a Valentine’s card – tongue in cheek, as he doesn’t DO Valentine’s! I can see his eyes rolling now as he opens it! Lol!! 🙂

So what do I love? I love What I Love – Sale-abration FREE stamp set! In fact ALL the FREE products you can choose from during the Sale-a-bration promotion are fantastic! I cracked open What I Love as soon as I saw the colour challenge from Global Design Project (#GDP017) this week.

New Year’s Resolutions

New Year’s Resolutions with Stampin’ Up! Number of Years and Flowering Fields Sale-a-Bration free gift.

With Christmas over and the New Year fast approaching, I’m thinking about New Year’s Resolutions. I usually don’t make any, as I never stick to them, but I think it’s about time I made a few and really stick to them next year.

I’ve prettied up a plain Kraft Midori Journal, which I’m going to use to write down the resolutions in and any other random ideas for my business, card designs etc I get along the way.

New Year's Resolutions featuring Stampin' Up! Number of Years and Flowering Fields Tracy May

I first saw these two brand new sets, Number of Years and Flowering Fields, at OnStage Live in Brussels in November, and knew instantly they were both on my wish list. Number of Years is a fantastic set, with numbers and sentiments, and it has coordinating framelits too!

I saw a card featuring Flowering Fields coloured this way, at OnStage designed by Stampin’ Up! artists, and decided to CASE it for my journal cover. Flowering Fields is one of the free Sale-a-bration gifts you can choose from. I will be posting more details on SAB as we call it next Tuesday (5th January) when the new catalogue launches and the Sale-a-bration promotion starts!

Stampin’ Up! Weekly Deals and More Sale-a-bration

New Weekly Deals and More Sale-a-bration items available

Good morning peeps, it’s a lovely day where I am. Hope the sun is shining where you are too. I’ve a poorly boy at home with me this morning. Unfortunately my youngest is off sick from nursery and we’re off to the doctors shortly. Before we go though, I wanted to share the news that Stampin’ Up! are offering more items up to choose as Sale-a-bration gifts to replace the Blendabilities that are unfortuantely no longer available. Click here for more information.

First though, here’s one of my own projects using Sale-a-bration set A Happy Thing.

stampin up uk independent demonstrator Tracy May Dutch Fold card making ideas

I think the fold is called a “Dutch” fold. It was my card for the March Card Challenge Swap group that I’m a member of on Facebook. The card had to be this fold and had to have DSP and a bird on a branch on the front and also use spring colours. I think I managed that by using the Painted Blooms DSP from the Spring/Summer (Occassions) 2015 catalogue and taking the colours for the bird from there.

I hope you like the project. Don’t forget there are only 13 days of Sale-a-bration left. And don’t forget to check out the Weekly Deals.

No More Blendabilities – No problem with the watercolour technique!

No More Blendabilities – No problem with Stampin’ Up! re-inkers and ink pads watercolour technique.

Good morning peeps, hope you had a great weekend and you’re ready and raring to go this morning. It was Mother’s Day in the UK yesterday and I got breakfast in bed woohoo! I also got to clean up the mess after I got up too! Five year olds don’t make for tidy chefs – what am I talking about neither do 43 year olds either! Lol.

Anyways, I did get the chance to have a play around in my craft room after lunch yesterday. You’ve probably already heard the news that Stampin’ Up! have taken the decision to withdraw the Blendabilities Alcohol Marker range due to intolerable quality issues – well if you haven’t – sorry to be the one to break the news to you! I loved the Blendabilites and bought them all and didn’t have a problem with any of them. They had become my go-to for colouring and I had kind of forgotten about other colouring methods such as the watercolour technique.

Well no more – I dusted off the reinkers and got out my Aquapainters and Blender pens to come up with these cards. They’re not a set exactly but I was playing around with the Nature’s Perfection Sale-a-bration set (available in wood or clear).

stampin up uk independent demonstrator Tracy May watercolour technique

Good old watercolouring. I simply painted over the embossed image with a light wash of ink and then continued applying to get the darker shades.

stampin up uk independent demonstrator Tracy May watercolour technique

The flowers in the card on the left are watercoloured using the Aquapainter. I didn’t have a Wisteria Wonder reinker so I simply squished the lid of my ink pad to get some ink onto the inside of the lid and picked it up with the Aquapainter. The card on the right uses Gorgeous Grunge splodges for colour.

stampin up uk independent demonstrator Tracy May watercolour technique

I used the reinkers and Aquapainter for the card on the right, but changed techniques for the card on the left. I picked up ink from the inner lid of the inkpads with my blender pens.

It was a fruitful and fun afternoon. I hope you’ve enjoyed these projects and are inspired to get out the reinkers. A little tip for you. If you use a paint palette to drop the ink into, you can simply let it dry out if you have any ink left over. As the inks are water based you can simply drop a bit of water into them at a later date and mix them up and paint with them again.

Have fun. Thanks for stopping by
